Sten has experience teaching students ages 4 to 60+, and everything in between. Several of Sten’s students have received recognition for musical achievement through winning All-State and All-County auditions in their respective age groups.

Sten believes in providing a personalized curriculum for each individual student based on their strengths and weaknesses.

While developing a strong technical foundation is important for any drum student, enjoying the process is crucial. Teachers that tailor their lessons to ensure their students are having fun making music have much more success, and their students are more likely to continue playing and growing as musicians. With a strong conviction that playing music is one of the most magical and fulfilling activities for humans, Sten prioritizes helping students love what they do.
